New Location, weekly plans

So, I was talking with Rhonda and explaining how I really don’t enjoy how Live Journal handles their journal entries anymore.  It really feels like the only way they really want you to use their software is if you pay for it.  Now don’t get me wrong, I totally understand that but if I’m going to pay for something I think it’ll be a place where I can really develop and expand to my own desires.  It also helps that I’m married to a graphic and web designer, so putting something together like this is really child’s play.  Of course, she wanted to do a lot more but I didn’t really want to put too much time into this until I knew for sure that I was going to be putting my thoughts down on a regular basis.  Right now, the goal is 60-days with no missed days.  Once I have that, I may drop down to five or six times a week…I mean honestly can a person really have something to say every day?!?!

Outside of a few choirs, I’ve basically been playing video games all day.  Got myself lost in a game called Wasteland 2.  If you’re into the post-apocalyptic and are kind of tired of zombies than I recommend checking this one out.  It’s a pretty cool story-line so far and I’ll admit that I wouldn’t mind paying through the first one to see what exactly the Rangers did back then.  Maybe later, or I’ll just you-tube it.  Still in the early stages of the game and have been attacked by Mad Max rejects, giant cockroaches and lizards.  I’m sure that there is worse out there waiting for me.

This week, I’ve got to devote sometime and get back into the swing of things for my Pathfinder game.  I’m to the point that I’m missing it and would really like to start playing again.  I took the holidays off and have enjoyed the time but really miss seeing everyone.  We’ve left on a cliff-hanger of sorts and have to figure out the next session so we can see what type of game we’ll be playing from here on.  It’s possible that there might be some new characters but I’m kind of hoping not as I really like everyone’s character.  We’ve also got to put plans together for GenCon.  It’s already time to book hotels and get badges.  I’m thinking that the count-down will be starting fairly soon.

As always, talk laters…

Stevie you have always had something to say. When you were in kindergarten and the base paper came to interview the students you were one of the students your teacher picked. When we asked her why she said I can always count on Stevie to ask lots of questions and talk with the reporters. That never changed and I believe you are much the same way today. I love reading what you write. Do you keep all these pages so you can look at them later say 10 years from now. That would be a lot of fun for you like looking at old pictures.

Thanks, Mom. It’s really good to hear you comment on my thoughts and such. I had forgotten that…though I do remember being a kid that asked a lot of questions. Now I have answers for a few of those questions that others ask 🙂 I do hope that this will last a while and also plan to come back and read what I was like at 40-something. I have some of that on Live Journal in my earlier posts and hope to transfer those here as I get time and motivation.
